Looking forward to more!

I was able to pause and assess my own knowledge and apply the terminology. I'm entering day 3 of being a new L&D nurse and there's not enough time to get comfortable with the tracings. This helped me to be able to spot the basics and breakdown what I'm actually looking at. I enjoyed the class and look forward to using more Bundle Birth Resources.

Simplified, but professional and engaging presentation of the material

Such a simplified, slow, but professional and engaging presentation of the material. I loved that it was only two hours--but touched on some of the sticking points I find for myself. It can be challenging to learn from whoever you are orienting with in real time on the unit and have these rules cemented well. My hospital system has modules, but honestly I don't remember them at all. I am 6 months into my new role (not a new nurse though), and this was perfect to help me firm up what I do know, and fill the gaps in spots that are a little more challenging. Great course, approachable and relatable--not overwhelming at all.

Engaging and presented in a clear, easy-to-understand way

I found the class most helpful because it was engaging and presented the material in a clear, easy-to-understand way. The breakdown of concepts combined with opportunities to practice interpreting fetal heart rate tracings helped solidify my understanding and increased my confidence.

This class was fantastic

This class was fantastic. I started working as a new grad on L&D a few months ago and this has cleared up a lot for me when it comes to fetal monitoring.

I will definitely be recommending this course

This was a great course to brush up on basic fetal monitoring terminology, definitions/term limits, and differentiations. The lecture was engaging (which is tricky to do on Zoom! Kudos!), and the pacing was perfect. There was a healthy amount of material covered in the 2 hours, without being overwhelming or not having enough time to really dig in to the concepts. The instructor left an appropriate length of time for student responses, and offered clear and concise rationales for answers. I will definitely be recommending this course to my ADN cohort classmates who are interested in pursuing Perinatal education. I have been working as a doula for the last 10 years (am now a Level 1 Nursing Student) and am pretty familiar with FHR tracings, but I still was able to pull out new and relevant information, and my interest was maintained through the whole workshop. I really enjoyed my time learning from this instructor, and felt that they were really well suited to teaching in the digital realm! Great energy and pacing, spoke clearly, offered clear and concise information, was encouraging and positive.
