After selecting your reservation type, you can choose to either pay for the entire room yourself or have each roommate pay for their own reservation. To confirm your booking, all roommates must complete their registration within the allotted time. Space is limited & the event is expected to sell out quickly, so plan accordingly and tag us once you’re in!

Join the Queue

Login to your BBN account and enter the waiting room. When sales open, you’ll be let into the queue, where you’ll be able to see how many people are ahead of you in line. DO NOT REFRESH. It’s a good idea to be in touch with your roommates while you wait. When it’s your turn, you’ll automatically be moved to the next page to begin your registration.

Choose Your Tickets

Once you enter the ticketing page, the timer begins!
Choose a single, double, or triple occupancy ticket, and be sure to add multiple tickets if you’re paying for the entire room. You will be able to add your roommates and send them an invitation to register to join you in your room on the next page.

If you are in a double or triple room and are not paying for all tickets, input your roommate(s) info to send them an invite to register in your room! Complete your registration and pay for your ticket(s). All roommates will need to check out before the timer runs out, if it does, you will need to rejoin the queue.

If you purchased the whole room, you're in! Otherwise, anxiously wait for your roommates to check out & watch their progress on your screen. Your room will be held for the remaining time. Akumal, Mexico at Secrets Akumal! We chose this resort because of it’s beauty, relaxing vibe and amazing grounds and conference facilities! You will love it! PLUS, there are stingrays and sea turtles in the water right in front of the resort!!
How exciting! In order to come, you need: 
  • A ticket to the learning retreat (paid in full by the start of the event)
  • Unexpired passport (expires no earlier than October 2025, 6 months from travel date)
  • A flight to Cancun (CUN)
You do not need to be able to speak Spanish to come; all of the hotel staff and transportation representatives speak English, although we recommend trying! Regarding safety: We have done our best to keep you the safest possible! Upon arrival, you will grab your bags and head outside the airport where there will be a clearly designated driver with a Bundle Birth Nurses sign. They will take you and other attendees directly to the resort. We have partnered with Amstar, one of the most reputable companies around! They speak English and will take you safely to the resort. The resort is a private resort with one way in or out – its staff take pride in your security. We do not intend to leave the resort, other than for excursions through Amstar, as it has more than everything that you need for an amazing time. Any departure from the resort, you do so at your own risk. A registration waiver is part of the terms that you accept upon checkout and will also be uploaded to your portal to sign prior to your arrival.

Here at Bundle Birth, we like to think outside the box and create experiences that will change your practice and your life! We’re tired of the same-old, read-the-powerpoint training that you’re tempted to skip for the beach! 

We will be slaving away working to create an experience for you from arrival to the airplane. This gathering is going to be taught by Bundle Birth personnel, we want you to build your clinical skills for your patients, yes. We also want you to have a week to get away, downregulate your nervous system and experience various forms of rest. You work SO HARD. You deserve to feel special, rested, refreshed and ready to MOVE.

Who attends matters because it shapes YOUR experience. This group of nurses will be kind, welcoming, and ready to embrace the experience we create for them!

We value you and love that you are interested in coming, however, we have made the tough decision to limit this event to Labor and Delivery nurses only. We do encourage you to come to our live online classes, go through our mentorship program and take our on demand classes in order to increase your knowledge and confidence. We highly value collaboration with you but this event has a specific purpose and intent to create a unique experience for L&D nurses. 

If you have never done a class with us, no stress, come as you are! The content will speak for itself but any class that you have done through Bundle Birth would be helpful so we’re all speaking the same language. We recommend our LIVE Physiologic Birth class to everyone as the most important foundation to change outcomes and increase your competency as a L&D nurse. 

Not during the event days (April 30th-May 5th, 2026)! This was a really hard decision for us but as we considered how to protect your time and help you get the most out of this experience, it became clear that having your spouse or partner there could be a barrier to you connecting and fully engaging with the experience for the full five days. They are welcome to come before (up to 3 days) or after (up to 3 days) at the group rate (add-on days). We will communicate when add-on days become available so you can sign up according to your plans. *Note: add-on days are 100% nonrefundable, no exceptions, and subject to resort availability. Book responsibly!

No problem! We are hoping that new people join us that didn’t experience the retreat in 2023. For this reason, we have held back a certain % of tickets to be sold in general sale so that if you didn’t go last time you still have a chance to join us in 2026!

We are L&D nurses planning this for you. We understand that most L&D nurses have a certain amount of shifts they work within a 2 week pay period. We want you to be able to come and not have to take ANY vacation days!!! We recommend working Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday before the learning retreat and working Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday after the learning retreat. If this works for you, great! If not, do whatever works best for you but we hope that our scheduling helps to make it easier for you to be able to come. 

Bundle Birth is committed to providing the highest level of evidence-based, practical nursing education to help empower you to be fully equipped to provide the best patient care, prevent cesarean birth, promote safety, empower families to have a trauma-informed birth experience, AND also love your job. Given that we still have 1.5 years before the event, we want to be sure that our programming is relevant to the time and so we will be revealing the topic for learning in 2025! It will include all new content and tons of clinical takeaways. The topic for our 2023 MOVE Learning Retreat was Physiologic Coping (this will not be the topic for 2026). Stay tuned for a special announcement of our learning in 2025!

We will offer at least 10 CEs. All main sessions will offer CEs. There will be optional breakout sessions that offer CEs and possibly others that will be non-clinical and will not offer CEs. We will be announcing all main session and breakout session topics along with more specific CE information when the event gets closer. We want to make sure all topics are relevant and fresh for you in 2026.

Sarah Lavonne, Krysta Dancy, and Teresa Navarro are confirmed instructors. There may be other instructors and these will be announced along the way, stay tuned! 

Ask them! If they have tuition/education reimbursement, this is very much a nursing training event! We will be uploading a letter example to your online portal to submit to management to assist you in getting some or all of it covered. Need something special?   • There are certain resort activities that have an additional cost to participate in when at the resort. These include; private beach bali beds, golf, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, & sport fishing. 
  • Spa services are not included, but are available for an additional charge. 

Yes! Everyone will have the choice to pay in full or sign up for a payment plan. For presale, there will be 16 month, 12 month and 6 month options. For general sale, there will be 12 month and 6 month options. Everything has to be paid in full by the time you come to the event. If you choose the 12 month option, this means you will have 12 monthly payments starting when you sign up and ending 12 months later. If you choose the 6 month option, this means you will have 6 monthly payments starting when you sign up and ending 6 months later. Just to be aware, the payment plans do have interest and end up costing more overall.

Inflation! It sucks but the resort fees are higher and our vendor costs are higher, so we had to bump up the price. We hope that the payment plans make the price more accessible for you if you aren’t able to pay it all at once. 

Nope! Tips have been included in your ticket price. Obviously, if you experience something exemplary and want to, you are more than welcome to do so.

The following cancellation penalties apply:

  • For cancellations until December 31st, 2024, you will be refunded all charges, less a $199 administration fee per ticket.
  • For cancellations between January 1st, 2025 and April 30th, 2025, all charges will be refunded, less a $395 fee per ticket.
  • For cancellations between May 1st, 2025 and September 31st, 2025, all charges will be refunded, less a $595 fee per ticket.
  • For cancellations between October 1st, 2025 and December 31st, 2025, all charges will be refunded, less a $795 fee per ticket.

Please note: Absolutely no refunds are available after December 31st, 2025. Refunds are for the TOTAL cost of your ticket, not what you have paid in payment plans. Extreme circumstances will be considered on an individual basis, please reach out to business@bundlebirth.com in this case.

We strongly encourage you to ensure appropriate travel insurance coverage as we will not consider registration refunds outside of the above-noted policy. You may, however, transfer your registration to another individual if you cannot attend, but Bundle Birth will not be responsible for finding this attendee. In this case, a $125 service fee will apply per ticket for any change up until April 1st, 2026. If the ticket is transferred after April 1st, 2026 the administration fee will be $400 to cover the added last-minute costs of the change. The transfer option is available until April 15th, 2026. After April 15th, 2026 the option to change your ticket to another attendee is not available.

Please be aware that if you participate in the roommate matching, a different refund policy may apply.

We have several administrative tasks to complete in preparation for your arrival, and the $199 fee helps us cover these costs, including credit card fees, when someone cancels. The remaining cancellation fees are based on the resort’s refund policy, which determines how much Bundle Birth has to pay for a canceled booking. Starting January 1st, 2025, Bundle Birth will no longer receive a full refund from the resort for cancellations, and all of your supplies and gifts will be paid for, so cannot provide a refund to you.

If you went to the 2023 MOVE Learning Retreat and/or the LIVE Physiologic Coping class in spring 2024, you were sent a link to add yourself to the presale list. If you went to either of these events and have not added yourself to the presale list, please reach out hello@bundlebirth.com and we can help you get on the list. Once on the list, you will get emails that will notify you about presale, with an exclusive link to register. Wait for a specific email from us that will give access to the presale. The waiting room for presale will open 2 hrs before presale enrollment begins. We suggest opening the waiting room to get into the queue (imagine a line). 40 rooms will be available (first come) for booking at a time until they are sold out!

The attendees of the 2023 MOVE Learning Retreat and those that registered for our Live Physiologic Coping Class were given the chance to be part of the presale. If you are not a part of presale, don’t worry, we are only releasing a % of tickets during the presale so that everyone has a chance to go even if you didn’t have the chance to get on the presale list.

2 hours before ticket sales open, a waiting room will be available until the sale opens. You will be let into the sale in the order that you arrived at the waiting room. DO NOT refresh your page or leave your page or you will lose your spot in line. If you do accidentally get out, come back and you will have a new spot in line. 

How often do you go to an event where you don’t know very many people and you feel like you have to put on your happy, best self? That’s exhausting right? We want you to come 100% you. Wherever you are, however you’re feeling, however tired or energized you are, we want this to be a safe place for you. No need to put on a perfect face or look a certain way. Just bring your full authentic self. 

We have been working tirelessly to plan for the best possible experience for you; literally paying attention and being intentional with every detail and moment. Short answer, YES!

TOTALLY! They will always ask you when you order and provide you with appropriate options and accommodations. We will communicate dietary restrictions as well to the resort in preparation for your arrival, per your registration answers.

This depends on if you are planning to come with other people you know or not. If you are planning to come alone, book a single room. If you are planning to come with one other L&D nurse friend and/or coworker (total=2 people), book a double room together. If you are planning to come with two other L&D nurse friends and/or coworkers (total=3 people), book a triple room. If you have a bigger group than this, plan who will room together and sign up accordingly. Some room types may sell out quicker than others. Single and double rooms will have a king bed only, while triple rooms have two double beds. 

There are 2 ways!

  1. One person can pay for all tickets and the other people can pay them directly
  2. Each person can pay for their own ticket

 

More info on option 1: One person in the group can pay for all the tickets. If you want to do this, upon checkout, add 2 tickets to book the entire double room or 3 tickets to book the entire triple room. If your group chooses this option, one person has to assume the total financial responsibility either upfront or on a payment plan. After checkout, you will have the opportunity to add your roommates so that they can have access to all the information and register themselves as attendees. However, they will not have the opportunity to pay for their portion through Bundle Birth, this will be done interpersonally. It is the responsibility of the person who is paying in full to get the payment from the other roommates and Bundle Birth will not help to mediate this. More info on option 2: One or all roommates can get in the queue and wait to be let in to choose your ticket type. The first roommate that gets in will choose the type of room (double or triple) and will add their roommate’s information to send the link to the others to sign up for that same room together. Notify your roommates once you have done this so that they can get online and complete the checkout in the allotted time, yes, it can time out! Each person will follow the checkout process and fill out all required information, including their own payment information. Each person will have the option to pay in full or choose a payment plan, and you do not have to choose the same option as your roommates. If all roommates do not check out in the allotted time, you will be notified that your time ran out and you will have to get back into the queue to start over. Payments will only go through once your room is confirmed and booked. All roommates will get a confirmation email when everyone has gone through the process and the reservation is confirmed. 

Totally understandable! Our advice is to have all roomies get in the queue and be ready to go. Have all checkout info ready as well. Once one roomie gets in, try to finish your reservations in time. Many of the checkout questions are optional so don’t fill them all in if you are running out of time. You will have the chance to fill that information out in your portal later. As a backup plan, have the other roomie(s) keep the queue open in another tab to keep their spot in line. If the timer runs out, instead of going to the end of the line, you will save time since the queue is still open on the other roomies screen. 

If your group is larger and staying in more than one room, we want to know! The resort is very large and the rooms for attendees will be spread out throughout the resort. We want to try to book your rooms close together if you are coming as a group and occupying more than one room. Choose a group name (anything you want!) and make sure everyone has that name when they are checking out. Plug that into your registration form where it says “give your group a name” and we will try our best to put your rooms near one another (subject to resort availability). 

 

Make sure that you have decided who is going to room with whom before you checkout, so that each group of roomies checkout together and make sure to get their room booked. You can configure your group however you would like to.

 

Example 1: 4 L&D nurse friends want to go together. Choose one of these options (depending on availability at time of booking):

  • book 2 double rooms (2 in each room)
  • book a single and triple room (1 person alone and 3 together). 

Make a plan together and complete the checkout process with only your roommates. 

 

Example 2: 9 people from a unit want to go together. Choose one of these options (depending on availability at time of booking): 

  • Book 3 triple rooms (9 people)
  • Book 3 double rooms (6 people) and 1 triple room (3 people)
  • Book 4 double rooms (8 people) and 1 single room (1 person)
  • Book 2 triple rooms (6 people), 1 double room (2 people) and 1 single room (1 person)

We sure hope not! Every detail is designed to help you make friends and never feel isolated or alone. Whether this is designated locations/times for dining, connecting with your assigned group for the week or helping you connect at events, we want you to feel the freedom to come be around like-minded nurses like you, whether you have a buddy to attend with or not! You belong with Bundle Birth Nurses. We want you to feel at home, comfortable and able to learn, being exactly who you are (leaving your best self at home 😀).

Roommate matching applications will become available with general sale, are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. You may or may not be able to be matched with a roommate and we do not promise to be able to match you if you apply. For presale and the start of general sale, you must sign up alone or sign up with roommates that you know. More information will be provided in the future concerning how to sign up for potential roommate matching. If you want to be matched with a roommate, you must be matched before signing up online and sign up with this person. There are different roommate matching cancellation terms that can be found HERE.

  1. Decide what type of room (single, double or triple) that you are planning to book. 
  2. If you are booking with roommates, have your roommate(s) first name, last name and email address ready to plug in to send them the invite to sign up in your room and coordinate with them to book at the same time. 
  3. Have your debit or credit card ready to fill out the payment information. 
  4. If you are coming with a larger group that doesn’t fit in only one room, decide on a group name and input it during checkout when it says “give your group a name”. Make sure everyone in your group adds the same name so that we can try to place your rooms close together at the resort. 
  5. You will need to know your home airport (where you will be flying from)
  6. Have a photo ready of you to add (optional)
  7. You have the opportunity to share with us any extra activities or sessions you want to see by our instructors. This is optional but if you want to think about it and help us shape the event, have at it!
  8. You have the opportunity to share with us any songs that you would like to hear at parties/pre/post sessions if you have any. It’s optional. 
  9. If you are submitting for reimbursement and your hospital needs you to get a certain number of contact hours (CEs) at the event, know this information and plug it in when asked on checkout. Also, if you know that your hospital needs certain things on the sales receipt for reimbursement, plug that in when prompted so that we can get you what you need. 

Please note: if any of this information needs to be updated closer to the event, you will be able to do this in your portal.

  1. You do not need to decide if you are going to add on dates at the resort at the beginning or end of the MOVE Learning Retreat. This option will come available in 2025 and we will notify you with all the info you need. 
  2. You do not need to decide if you want to upgrade your room. This option will become available in 2025 and we will notify you with all the info you need.

In this case, you will be notified and will have to get back in the queue and restart the process. The booking will not be confirmed and no payment will have been charged. We recommend all being ready on your computers or phones to complete the checkout at the same time.

No payment will be processed until the reservation is confirmed and booked. If you are not able to complete your reservation and have to start over, don’t worry, you have not been charged. You will only be charged once your room is confirmed.

No. We have a unique checkout process to buy your ticket to MOVE. You will not be able to buy anything else from our store at the same time that you checkout with your MOVE ticket. After checking out with your ticket, go back and follow the normal checkout process with any other items you may want to buy. Or first checkout with any other items and then follow steps to checkout with your MOVE ticket.

The event is only for L&D nurses during the main conference dates. However, you will have the option to add up to 3 days before and/or 3 days after and anyone that you would like to join can come for those days. The initial registration is only for the main conference dates but add ons will become available for purchase in the future. 

No, unfortunately not. We know this is not ideal for breastfeeding mothers and we don’t mean to exclude you. The resort that the learning retreat is at is for adults only, no children are allowed. If you want to come and you are breastfeeding, we want to do everything we can to help you maintain your supply and have all the support you need. Please bring a breastpump with you and any other needed supplies. All rooms have a refrigerator in the room to save your milk. The milk can be frozen by calling your concierge and sending it to the main freezer. Feel free to pump during any and all events including sessions. If you want to bring the breast milk back with you to the USA, that is allowed by airlines and you can bring it through security with you if you would like to have it in your carryon or personal item. The milk will be tested going through security. This is routine and is just testing the liquids for explosives or prohibited concealed items. No one is legally allowed to give you a hard time or question that you have breastmilk with you when traveling. YES! We have a group rate available to you for 3 days before and after the scheduled Learning Retreat days. You can come alone or come with your L&D besties to extend your time together. You can also have a partner, friend, or family member join you before or after the event, but not during. Add-ons will become available in 2025 and information will be sent to you on how to sign up. *Note: add-on days are 100% nonrefundable, no exceptions. Book responsibly!

YES! The cost of your ticket includes transportation to and from the airport, as long as you arrive within 3 days of the retreat start date (April 27th, 2026) or depart within 3 days of the retreat end date (May 8th, 2026). If your partner, friend or family member desires to come during pre or post retreat, they will be able to purchase additional transportation on your online portal, under the Add-Ons section once add-ons are available. We will request their flight information from you to coordinate transportation. 

You can do this but you will have to book directly with the resort in this case. To book with us, the only option to extend your time at a discounted rate will be for 3 days before and after the event. A separate reservation directly with the resort will be needed if it is outside of this timeframe. In this case, transportation will not be provided by Bundle Birth if it is outside of the 3 day window on either side. 

When you make your reservation, this is for the main conference dates and the options are to stay in a single room (alone) or stay with other L&D nurses as roommates in a double or triple room. If you are planning for your partner to come before or after the main conference, this will be a separate reservation and cost to you. They will not be able to stay with you during the main conference so do not sign up for a room that includes them in it. 

No! You can totally come alone before or after the event for some extra R&R. Even if you are staying with roommates during the event, they don’t have to also come for the extra day. Live YOUR best life! Add on dates will come available in 2025 as a separate purchase. 

There will be a representative from the spa available to answer questions and reserve a spot during our private check-in on Thursday, April 30th, or you can add any service throughout your stay through the resort (subject to availability), at an additional cost. Check your ipad in your room to book or talk to your concierge!

YES! Most excursions are likely going to occur on Friday, May 1st, and some may be offered on Saturday, May 2nd  and Sunday, May 3rd in the afternoon post the main sessions. All information on excursions and additional costs will be announced in 2025. All excursion information is subject to change since the event is still so far out. We will notify you when this is available and you will have the chance to sign up. We recommend purchasing ahead of time, but if you decide once you get to the resort you want to adventure out, there will be the ability to sign up at registration (based on availability). Excursions will be available for sale until January 2nd, 2026.

YES! Upgrades will become available for purchase in 2025. Single or double occupancy rooms can purchase an upgrade for the duration of the learning retreat (April 30th – May 5th, 2024). Prices are per room and first come, first serve (subject to availability). This is a flat rate for the 5 days.

If you are in a triple room, upgrades are not available for 3 people. If you have a single room, the full price of the upgrade will be charged to you and the master suites are not available for upgrade if you are staying alone in a single. If you have a double room, the upgrade price can be paid for by one attendee only or the fee can be split evenly between the two roommates. This must be indicated upon checkout and both roommates must pay their part of the upgrade in order to confirm the upgrade. 

A full packing list will eventually be added to your online portal closer when the event gets closer. 

We want you to be able to bring your full-self, leaving your best self at home!

The following dress-code will be required:

  • The welcome party theme will be announced with information on the required dress code. In 2023, the welcome party’s theme was NEON Party & everyone wore NEON colors! Stay tuned!
  • Sessions – comfy, movable clothes as we will be moving around; leggings welcome!
  • The Farewell Party is a Red Carpet theme, wear formal/cocktail attire.
  • Otherwise, resort-attire! Live your life and plan for the fun!

*Note: for men in particular, there is a dress code at restaurants (no tanks, closed toe shoes), women they are much more flexible but most people wear nicer clothes for the dinners. You do need a cover-up for breakfast/lunch in any restaurant.

Nope! Plugs are what we’re used to.

Check with the airline that you book your flight with in order to see how much luggage they allow. Many times, a certain number of bags are included for free, and then you have the option to pay extra if you need more suitcases along with you. Be aware that budget airlines may even charge for carryon items that you bring with you on the plane and that each category of luggage has weight and size restrictions. 

We will need you to submit your flight information to us by a certain date, so that we are aware of when you are arriving. Once you grab your bags and are ready to head out, you will look for a Bundle Birth Nurses sign and be escorted to private transportation with other MOVE Learning Retreat Attendees. We will group you together with itineraries that arrive at similar times, but you may have to wait if everyone in your van has not yet made it to travel together. 

You can do what you want, but there isn’t a need if you intend to stay on the resort grounds (which we recommend). If you do want to buy anything at the resort that isn’t included, you can plan to use your card or cash (American dollars). 

We will be following all local regulations/rules for April 2026, issued by the country of Mexico. This will be a maskless event.

Yes, we will be taking pictures and videos throughout the event. As a part of your registration waiver, you will be required to let us use photos and videos taken of you for marketing purposes. If this makes you uncomfortable, then we encourage you to reconsider coming to the event.

Culture Core is a volunteer group of MOVE Learning Retreat attendees who apply to be central to and responsible for creating a culture of inclusivity, hospitality and support during the event. The application for this will be available to all attendees in 2025. This time, we will be expecting our Culture Core to arrive one day early (room covered by us) so that they can help with registration on the 30th.

YES! Sarah will be there and there will be times when you will have the opportunity to meet her personally.

Once your reservation is booked, you will get a confirmation email with more info. Next, we will let you know when your custom detailed portal becomes available in your Bundle Birth Nurses account. This is going to be a great place to refer back to whenever you need to. We will be sending emails to all attendees with updates and when we need things from you (like submitting your flight info so we know how to pick you up!). 

Before the event, you will be given access to our learning retreat app. You will have the opportunity to connect with one another, receive notifications from us, sign up for optional breakouts/activities, watch the calendar of events so you don’t miss anything and more! This guide will be shared via email, and will have even more details, descriptions of events (Bundle Birth and the resort’s), instructor profiles, an ability to add events to your schedule, and a mobile version of the resort map and spa offerings. We will also be offering an emergency contact number prior to the event strictly for emergencies so that you can get a hold of our team. We will also be watching email on travel days.

We hope that you can make it but get that life happens. If you are able to find someone to take your spot, YES, that option will be available until April 15th, 2026. This will depend on how you signed up for the event, what type or room that you have booked, and the availability of other room types. There will be a fee based on the scenario. If one person paid for the whole room, this person is responsible to fill the empty spot if one of their roommates cancels on them. Depending on availability, the option to switch room types may be available instead (example: triple to double). If it is not available you may have to pay for the empty spot. If each roommate paid for their ticket and one person cancels, the roommates will have the option to try to fill the spot themselves, try to change their room type (example: triple to double) based on availability or eat the cost. Either way, finding a new roommate to replace the one that needs to cancel is the easiest and simplest way to move forward.
