L&D Nurse Educators, RNC-OB, C-EFM Hi, we’re Jen and Heidi! We're thrilled to be joining you on this exciting leg of your nursing journey. Teaching this class has been a passion project for us, and we're delighted that the time has finally come. Before we delve into all things RNC, we'd like to share a bit about how we came together to teach this course. Our story begins in 2014 when Jen was teaching a fetal monitoring class where Heidi was one of the students. Jen remembers thinking, "Who is this girl?" Little did we know, a friendship was budding. Fast forward to 2018, when our paths crossed again when we began working at the same hospital. It quickly became clear that our shared passion for nurse education aligned perfectly. Our collaboration started with simulations and strip reviews for our unit and evolved into teaching fetal monitoring together. Early on, we sat down and created a "Jen and Heidi" work vision board mapping out our shared goals and dreams for the future. Central to this vision was the "fun bubble," where we envisioned creating an RNC-OB course that could empower nurses across the globe to enhance their practice. We're excited to bring that vision to life in this course and look forward to making learning as engaging and impactful as possible. Let's embark on this journey together! xx Jen & Heidi
