This is the 5-hour course that you need to feel confident in helping your patients learn how to cope in labor with and without an epidural. This class is a mix of lectures and hands-on in a hospital room to give you realistic and practice tips. Learn the art of breath, instincts, positions, touch, how to adjust, mood and encouragement. Sarah teaches a strategic process as well as the “why” behind how to help your patients cope in labor.

Learning Objectives:
- Demonstrate 3 different tools to help a patient cope in labor
- Create individualized plans for coping based on each stage of labor.
- Discuss how to implement BIPTAME in their practice.
This class was designed for Labor and Delivery nurses but any person can take and learn from it.
